12-year-old boy killed in Fort Worth hit-and-run crash

Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run involving a child in Fort Worth. Anyone with information is urged to call Fort Worth police.
FORT WORTH, Texas – Fort Worth police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a 12-year-old boy.
It happened on Thursday around 8 p.m. in the 3700 block of Stalcup Road, just north of William McDonald Park in southeast Fort Worth.
Investigators said the boy was crossing the street in a crosswalk when he was hit by the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee.
The driver ran a red light, struck the boy, and then kept going without stopping to help.
The boy, identified as 12-year-old Apollo Rogers, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
